The Spring Bloodhound Club Open Show was on 4th February,
judged by Debbie Pownall (Akaru)
Her Best in Show was the best puppy from last year's Championship Show

The Bloodhound Club Autumn Open Show,
held on 4th November 2007, was judged by Peter Jolley.
His Best in Show was Powells' Trailfinder Hopscotch
with RBIS Lamb & Crease's Cammonstone Jupiter.
Reserve dog was Harrington's Cammonstone Justice &
Reserve bitch was Gore's Sagio Emilia of Silverspring
Best Puppy was Wright's Kingwater Hemingway,
and Best Veteran N. Sutcliffe's Sanft Defiant.

The Bloodhound Club Championship Show 2007
was held at Baginton on Saturday 2nd June.
Due to ill health the scheduled judge, Terry Thorn had to cancel, and
we were fortunate that Pete Smith (Actaeon) agreed to judge in his place.
(Subject to Kennel Club Approval)
Pete Smith's Best in Show was Powell's Ch. Trailfinder Fortitude,
and his best bitch and RBiS was Emrys-Jones' Ch. Marksbury Wistful

The Bloodhound Club also supports some societies which offer classes for Bloodhounds at their Open Shows
by giving rossettes for BoB, RBoB and BP, with £10 for BoB,
The supported shows are
Bridgwater & District
The Hound Association Open Show,
Humberside Hound Association.
South West Hound,
All these are held in April, with Bridgwater & District Open Show having
supported Bloodhound classes for the first time in 2007.

Directions
Baginton

Baginton is South of the ring road skirting the South of Coventry, Warwickshire, and is reached from all directions using the A46.  From the A46 follow signs to Coventry Airport.

The Village Hall, has been the venue of Bloodhound Shows since 1995.  It is hidden behind the village green, parking for about twenty cars.

Langford

Langford is South of Biggleswade.  Coming from the South, the quickest route is up the A1, turning left at the water tower. [ for the next show this junction will be available from the North.] The Boot, Langford
 a family friendly English Pub
Keep left at the first mini-roundabout, then right at 'The Boot'.
There are two more pubs to pass Northwards through Langford; 'The Red Cow' and 'The Wrestlers'.
Then between the road restrictions, turn left after the Cricket pitch.
