The Club's first event for 2008, was the Millvery Trophy Stake.
The Millvery Trophy
Winners of the previous year's Senior Stakes are invited, to hunt an eight-hours cold line.
This was held in Hampshire, judged by Rod Bennett.
However the trophy was not awarded.

The Bloodhound Club Spring Trials were held in the last week of February,
in country North of Holybourne, Hampshire.
This was the last trials under Jo Franks, since she has retired as the Working Trials Secretary.
Jo had served in this role for eighteen years, for which we are tremendously grateful.
Martin Page has agreed to take on the mantle for the Autumn trials in Kent.

won the Senior Stake of both the BC and ABB Spring Trials,
and in both cases was awarded the KC Working Trials Certificate, which, qualified
her as Working Trial Champion. 
Congratulations to the Robertson's Floralis Kennel, and her handler Alan Taylor!
 

The Club Championship Trials Autumn 2008

The Bloodhound Club Championship Trials Autumn 2008 were held around Warren Street in Kent.
from 20th to 23rd October 2008.
This concluded with Steve Wain selecting the winner of the Senior Stake,
Robertson's WTCh. Trailfinder Endearing by Floralis handled by Alan Taylor.
This meant that Endearing (Bouquet) has won all four Senior Stakes held in 2008!
Here are the Schedule & Entry form (PDF). 
The Bloodhound Club the Kelperland Trophy Stake was held on Sunday 30th November,
at Penton Grafton, Hampshire. The judge, Sue Bennett, was unable to award the trophy, but awarded one
Certificate of Merit to Tickell's Yardley's Gigolo (Imp,Swe).
